Tour Overview

This Safari Package Starts and Ends in Kigali Rwanda, during this tour you will experience what Africa is all about with nature and species. Some types of Birds and Primates like the famous Low land Gorillasand Chimpanzees, explore Congolese culture, visit the Scientific Research Center and the biggest library in central Africa; you will do them in Kahuzi Biega national park.

Day by Day Tour program

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN KIGALI

Arrive at Kigali airport, where you will be welcomed by our English/French speaking guide, short briefing, drive to kamembe via kibuye , along the way you will pass through the beautiful, hilly countryside that gives Rwanda  the name ‘’a country of thousand hills’’arrival later in afternoon  time at Ruzizi  border. After formalities cross the DRC border.

Over night at your hotel.

Day 2: BUKAVU – KAHUZI BIEGA NATIONAL PARK

Today is the big day ….After breakfast (inclusive). You drive to Kahuzi Biega National Park precisely in the southern part of the park at Chivanga. Once we arrive at the National Park Headquarters, you will be briefed by the Park staff and prepare for the day. We can enjoy a quick cup of coffee here before we enter the park. Today we will be accompanied by armed Park Rangers as we embark on our Eastern Low Land Gorillas trekking. A typical visit will start with a 1-2 hour trek, in search of the Gorillas. After the trekking, we will drive to Lwiro where there is the Scientific Research Center which was built in 1947 by Belgians. Here, you'll have a chance to visit the Chimps’ sanctuary, the museum, the library, the biodiversity room, and snakes in cages. Around 2 pm this afternoon, after the visit to the Scientific Research Center, drive back to Bukavu, overnight at your Hotel.

Day 3:BUKAVU – DEPARTURE

After an early breakfast, around 7AM, and check-out at the Hotel, then we will drive to the  Ruzizi  border and  driving back to kigali, transfer to the hotel/airport.End of a wonderful Trip in Congo.
